Diane Hunter and her horses at Los Gatos Farm work with our Women Leading Change participants to teach them how to read and alter their inner emotional state, tune into their innate wisdom, and integrate all aspects of their being.
Diane is a Master Equus Coach and Facilitator, Master Life Coach, and Mind-Body Coach. In Equus Coaching, each individual has an immersive learning experience with horses through communication interactions from the ground.
Diane believes, “In a world of opposites like ‘right’ and ‘wrong,’ ‘good’ and ‘bad’, ‘us’ and ‘them’, the mind gets caught in a story of fragmentation and separation. This illusion of brokenness creates disharmony in the human expression, blocks creative energy and the flow of love, and makes it very challenging to see who you truly are.”
The initial steps on Diane’s path were both right and left-brain focused. She studied classical piano for nine year, cultivating the right-brain. In college, she received a B.S. in Computer Science from Cal Poly, SLO then worked in the high-tech industry for over a decade.
Her experience in the field for those years has informed her approach to coaching. While she used to write and debug software programs for computers, she now “writes and debug software” as thoughts for the brain. Her favorite part is helping her students debug the cultural and social programs that run their lives and showing them how to write new code of awareness.
