She is a seasoned corporate executive with more than 30 years of experience in human resources, information systems, commercial lending, and market research management. She has held HR leadership positions at Sears, Roebuck and Co., Kraft Foods, Apple Computer, Sega of America and PDI/Dreamworks.
Over the last 10+ years, Loretta has worked as an award-winning leadership/business coach and performance improvement consultant, helping clients optimize their performance and accomplish their business and personal goals. She has consulted successfully with business owners as well as executives and professionals in the private and public sectors in the fields of technology, human resources, healthcare, financial services, marketing and sales.
Loretta has trained and coached leaders and teams within Hewlett-Packard, Sprint, Arizona Power Supply, Salt River Project, Allstate, Visa, Schwab, KPMG, Wells Fargo, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arizona State University, Maricopa County, the Mayo Clinic, State Farm, and Merrill Lynch.
She leverages her multidisciplinary business background to help her clients broaden their perspective, understand the implications of their actions, and build coalitions to raise the performance of their organizations. She helps them identify and dispel false beliefs that hinder achievement, develop pragmatic yet expansive action plans, and be accountable for achieving the goals they’ve set. Loretta has taught Career Management, Organizational Leadership and Change Management, Systems Thinking, Organizational Behavior, and Conflict Management for the graduate divisions of the University of Phoenix and Ottawa University. During her corporate years, Loretta facilitated the Diversity Working Group for the R&D division of Apple Computer, helping them create and launch a strategic plan to increase diversity representation within the division. She also launched and ran a diversity recruiting campaign for the company’s corporate College Relations function. She served in a voluntary capacity as Co-Chair for the African American affinity group as well.
Loretta has been featured several times on the Phoenix Fox10 Morning News show and radio shows across the country, and has been quoted in the New York Times, Black Enterprise, the Arizona Republic, the Phoenix Business Journal, and Working Mother magazine. She was named one of the 2010 Top Women in Business by the Phoenix Business Journal and a 2010 Woman of Excellence by the National Council of Negro Women’s Metropolitan Sun Section of Phoenix.
Loretta is the Immediate Past President of the Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She has served on the boards of the Arizona Chapter of the National Speakers Association, Gabriel’s Angels, the Harp Foundation, Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council, Parkinson Network of Arizona, and the Women’s Enterprise Foundation. She has been certified by the International Coach Federation.
